Core Values of Rock of Refuge
Study
Through our studies we will walk through biblical lessons, partaking in discussions to see where the Bible is relevant today and how we can apply it to our lives. As we journey together, we will learn to use our Bible as a roadmap, to get comfortable looking for scriptures and recognizing their context in the Word of God.
Fellowship
As we spend our time together, we will endeavor to support one another, uplift one another, and to work as a team. We will hold each other accountable and be there to help those who are struggling, to console those who are hurting, and to rejoice with those who are encountering the many blessings of God.
Worship
We serve a Great and Mighty God and He is worthy of our praise! At Rock of Refuge we will mix the traditional hymns we were raised with and contemporary praise and worship to make a joyful noise unto the Lord together.
Missions
Throughout the year we will partake in several projects to show the love of Christ to our community. From projects as simple as helping with the food pantry, raking leaves, working the local soup kitchen, and simply being good stewards of our time and money, to day trips and weekends away, we will live our lives intentionally and missionally.
A place of Christian fellowship, encouragement, affirmation, and accountability without fear and reservation.
